DoinTV coins are a virtual currency used exclusively within the DoinTV platform to unlock premium drama episodes. The following terms and pricing apply:

- Pricing: Coin prices are displayed in the recharge interface and may be updated periodically. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Non-Refundable: Once coins are recharged and added to your account, they are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account.
- Expiration: Recharged coins do not expire as long as your account remains active. Accounts inactive for more than 12 consecutive months may have their coin balance forfeited.
- Usage: Coins can only be used to unlock drama episodes within the DoinTV app. Each episode unlock deducts the specified coin amount from your balance.
- Transaction Records: All recharge and spending records are maintained in your account history. You may request a transaction summary by contacting our support team.
7. Refund Policy for In-App Purchases
Summary: Virtual currency ("Coins") and unlocked episodes are generally non-refundable, except as required by law or in specific limited circumstances described below.
7.1 Digital Goods Are Non-Tangible. ShortPlay/DoinTV offers virtual coins that can be used to unlock premium episodes. Once coins are credited to your account or an episode is unlocked, the purchase is considered final and non-refundable. This policy aligns with industry standards for digital content and Google Play's policies on virtual currency.
7.2 Limited Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Issued. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial or full refund in the following exceptional cases:
- Duplicate or erroneous charge: If you were charged twice for the same transaction due to a technical error on our side.
- Unauthorized purchase: If you can demonstrate that a purchase was made without your consent (e.g., child misuse, account breach) and you have not already spent the coins.
- Technical failure: If you purchased a specific episode but it fails to play or is permanently inaccessible due to an App bug, and you report it within 48 hours of the purchase.
- 48-hour refund window: We voluntarily offer a 48-hour refund window for coin purchases only if no coins have been spent and the purchase was made directly via Google Play. After 48 hours or once any coin is spent, the transaction becomes final.
7.3 How to Request a Refund.
- First, use Google Play's refund flow: Go to Google Play Store → Account → Order History and select "Request a refund". Google will automatically handle many cases within 48 hours.
- If Google Play rejects your request: Contact us directly at siyuan3122@gmail.com with: your registered email, Order ID / Google Play transaction ID, date and amount of purchase, and detailed reason for the refund request.
We will review your request within 14 business days and notify you via email. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
7.4 No Refunds for Spent Coins. Once you have used any coins to unlock content, you are not eligible for a refund for those coins or the unlocked episodes. We do not offer "change of mind" refunds for coins that remain unused — you may continue using them at any time.
7.5 Account Deletion and Coin Balance. If you choose to delete your account, any remaining coin balance will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or transferred. We encourage you to spend your coins before deleting your account.
7.6 Chargebacks and Disputes. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting our support team, your DoinTV account may be temporarily suspended until the matter is resolved. Abuse of chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.
8. Compliance with U.S. Regulations
This policy complies with the following regulations and standards:
- Google Play's Payments Policy: Virtual currency purchases are clearly labeled as non-refundable, and a limited refund window is provided for exceptional cases.
- Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act: We clearly disclose that digital goods are final sale, while honoring statutory rights for defective products or unauthorized charges.
- Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Our app is rated 17+ and not intended for children.
